Here is a video I found on google video, put together by a bunch of fixed gear nuts out in Copenhagen during Star Track 06.

Decently styling. Nothing like that Mash documentary that will be out shortly. But man-O-man do I want my fixed gear back...

Hey Simon are you done with her yet?

I wonder if Simon will survive Christine. Hey, you could always convert your CX bike to a fixed wheel.

haha, well wease, I suppose I could part with her... maybe after this weekend?

I have to admit, the little demon and I have become quite tight... I guess now I've gotta build my own.

God damn it, at this rate my touring bike will NEVER get built.

anyone have a cheap track hub they want to sell me?

I just want to borrow it back one of these days so I can play with the hey fixie group.

Apart from that I have no problem with you riding her... giddy up

177m...? yeah that aint half bad... even after numerous videos im still amazed by the length and control people can muster up.

highlight (for me) of last nights HF ride was jeromes lazy over the speed hump fishtail skid. it wasnt long (3-4m?), but was done clean and smooth and looked way fun (dork trick style). recognise...

They've definitely got the straight skids down, but it's too bad that's all they've got.

Ive never heard of an allycat having trick skid competitions... but I bet that with the way fixie riding is evolving, they soon will.

standard fare for after-race festivities are longest skid, longest trackstand (moving through different levels of difficulty) and some sort of trick comp. the latter is open to any trick... skid, balancing act, trackstand variation or general bike-included tomfoolery.

the 420 race this year had a trick comp after it in the back blocks near the docks.

from memory... best trick was someone pulling a superman on a tall bike, second was someone drinking abeer while sterring with their feet... there were some opther pretty funny moves.

i was thinking about having an impromptu trick comp after speed freaks, but then it turned out that velo-mutations was on.

its a good way to wind down after a chaotic race...

I want to do a skid, weighting the front wheel and somehow slid it into a 360. Is that possible? I have seen some of those car drifting movies... we can do better!

Or if anyone can do any of these tricks in this video I will personally buy them a pitcher!
