LTR #3: The Grudge Match
Submitted by Wease on November 22, 2006 - 5:49pmSo Learn To Ride (LTR) #3 was fun. We all worked on some more basic skils... like standing starts. This was then the perfect venu for Adam and Skylar to race it out. The race was a pursuit. Each racer started on opposite sides of the track (the track is 200m in total, giving 100m inbetween). The race goes for either 15 laps or until one rider catches the other, which ever happens first. I attached a little video camera to Skylar(aka master o dustruction) bike prior to the start, from which I did a quick edit job last night to put together this little video. Click the "Play" link to watch it. Make sure to listen carefully, because there are some funny conversations.

Long Line of Cars, Part II
Submitted by Wease on October 24, 2006 - 9:35amWell I was at it again, inspired by a couple people I talked to at some parties (thanks Simon and Haley- sp?) I made another long like of cars video. All it takes is a couple people telling me that they dug my first short and I am out doing it agin. Where in the first short I passed a bunch of cars on my ride in the morning out from Maple Ridge to the city, this time I passed a bunch of cars going the other way.
Normally I pass a number of cars when I commute and each one feels great. This time was absolutely amazing as I passed almost 10 km of cars in line waiting to go somewhere, anywhere, but forward.
