Halloween is, hands down, the best holiday of the year.
And lucky us, Halloween falls on a tuesday this year - which means we can milk it for all its worth, extending the 'weekend' before about as far as we can to dress all silly like and have a good time. Now all of y'all have got great costume parties to attend on friday/saturday/sunday (maybe even monday) no doubt, and halloween + bikes have already come together to collaborate on such delicious events this coming weekend as Critical Mass, the OCB halloween party, and the Devil's Night Alley Cat race. Now all you lovely & bikesexual folk can add one more costumed crusade to the list - the Midnight MassQuerade.
That's right kids, midnight mass is Tonight - costumes all around!
Get your wings & your tutus, your ray guns and witch hats, exercise your wit and your fine sense of fashion (or just of the absurd) - mix it all up and throw in a couple of wheels and some bike lights and get your ass to the Midnight MassQuerade.
As usual, we meet at Grandview Park (Commercial Drive @ Charles st.) at 11:45 with the ghost train rolling at the creepy, scary, hour of midnight. Bring your bike lights, your friends, your costumes, & your thermoses full of hot refreshement!
