My first visit to the desert riding mecca came right after Iron Man. We first did the 24 hours of Moab, then chilled out and rode for the rest of the week with people we met at the race. the most interesting character was the grocery store manager/satanist who did nasty things to meat products purchased by the store patrons. I must say, there are some wacky people are attracted to the desert.
