So about one month ago I switched FG over to a different application yo run the show (drupal). When I did that only 5 user accounts came along for the ride. Since that time another 55 have signed up giving a grand total of 60 one gear lovin' peeps. Yikes! Considering I suspect a large proportion of FG readers are Luddites I am absolutely amazed!
In other news I bought some argyle socks, which I will be wearing at the Wednesday Night Series at the track. I figure these will be my secret go fast socks. Shhhh... don't tell anyone.
Another cool Argyle products I have seen is the Twin Six Jersey
Guy or Grrl... young or old... combine these two and you will be a dangerous force. Although argyle started becoming cool in the underground about a year or so ago, I predict you can get at least another year of cool out of this classic pattern.

Argyle socks are the best... but you need shin warmth in this weather. Go longer and go harder...
Don't forget:
these
or these
or finally here
Ahem..
Don't forget to paint the forks of your bike Argyle too..

That is brilliant... let me get right on that. Actually I want a full argyle skin suit.
Now wouldn't that be sweet?
Didn't skylar say if we got him into spandies... it would have to be a full skin suit and an aero-helmet
I've got the defeet argyles, they're great.
Hey, 61 now.. I've been watching the post count tick up to 100 in bloglines and I just had to look at what's going on. 'Long socks' were popular with the alternative ss/fix crew back in Melbourne when I left. I wonder if shifterbikes is still selling 'em?
for the best long socks (men) put aside your insecurities and browse the ladies sock section at sears/the bay/etc...
all the argyle and old school patterns (stripes/tartan) you can shake a bike shoe (or vans slip-on) at...
word of warning... i got soaked feet late last year and had to find a dry pair of socks quickly. i thought i'd hit the goldmine with the Gaps selection of argyle socks... thick and soft... turns out that they are c-r-a-p and not warm at all.
should have walked the extra 5 blocks in cold sockless feet to pac centre.
Argyle cycling clothing is all the rage at the moment, the Garmin team have done a great job marketing this style!
