Let's see how this goes... most regional forums have a Craigslist/local buys thread to keep an eye out for fixed (or fixed friendly) bikes for sale.
People will either be inclined to share for the better good of the community or hoard the deals for themselves... I'm hoping the former!

i've heard some less than positive remarks about the quality of the tubesets/workmanship on pakes but this does have a few nice parts on it...
edit: this is actually meshkat (from mighty riders) commuter. he knows his wrenches so this is in excellent mechanical condition and you have to think it will always get great service if you take it back to there.
he said he would go to $600 if you mention this site... but no lower. i mean really... campy bb and cranks? this is almost worth parting out...

say what you will about pistas... i'm just posting this. i'm wondering how firm he will be if it doesnt sell in a week or two... this weather doesnt make for exciting bike buying conditions.
no doubt - I've been waiting for winter to come around for some bike deals. Around december/january its bargains a plenty.
