World Naked Bike Ride!

On June 9th, 2007, cities around the world will experience the exposed joy of the world's largest naked protest against oil dependency and car culture. It's time to stop indecent exposure to automobile emissions! Hundreds of cyclists will ride in various stages of undress, reclaiming the streets as sexy, self-propelled citizens. Raw Naked Bicycle People Power!
The Vancouver ride starts Saturday, June 9, 1:00pm at Sunset Beach (corner of Beach and Bute).
Reverend Niko's Vancouver Cruiser Ride
Submitted by Wease on May 28, 2007 - 1:51pmJoin Reverend Niko and other Vancouver Cruisers for this first Sunday of the Month ride. Meet 12pm Noon for breakfast at The Cambie Pub (the corner of Cambie and Cordova), then ride all afternoon. The ride usually leaves around 1:30 pm. Route is variable.

There will also be an all-afternoon BYOBBQ on the infamous BBQ Bike. Bring food to share on the grill!

Ambitious Musicians Touring Across Canada by Bicycle
Submitted by Wease on May 11, 2007 - 4:16pmJohnny Eden and Derek Olive are using bicycles in order to tour their music in an environmentally friendly way. The pair of songwriters are going from coast to coast, staring May 11th in Powell River, BC and ending September 8th in Petite Riviere, NS. In between are over 60 shows in small towns and major cities across Canada.
