Put on by the Burnaby Velodrome Club, Learn to Ride (LTR) is designed to introduce youth and adult cyclists of all abilities to riding the track. LTR is a three session program that provides cyclists with an introduction to track cycling and teaches the basic skills of handling a fixed gear track bike, entering and exiting the track, velodrome ettiquette, riding pacelines, and introduces basic race-oriented topics.
Prerequisites LTR 1 & 2

In addition to the fee of the clinic you need to be insured.
Celebrate Momentum Magazine's 25th issue with the debut performance of CLANCY"S ANGELS, a post-modern rock gospel supergroup.
When: December 16th - 8pm till 2am
Where: Anza Club, 3 west 8th Ave. (at Ontario) [MAP]
Cost: $10 at the door
The evening features a performance by the all-woman bicycle dance sensation, the B:C:CLETTES, and the REVOLUTIONISTS will rock out at the end of the night with their booty-boggling quadruple DJ action.

This swap is related to everything and anything to do with cycling: Bikes, wheels, racks, clothes, gear and demo samples from gear reps, you name it. Clean out your garage, your closets and your car... and get to the SWAP!
While you’re there, take in some of the track racing at the 6-day event, the thrill of speed at its best! Table rentals: $30.00 (table rentals first come, first served, open to all)

On the third Wednesday of every month (except August) the Vancouver Bicycle Advisory Committee meets 5:30pm in the Strathcona Room at Vancouver City Hall (453 West 12th at Cambie) to address cycling-related issues in the city of Vancouver and advises City Council on those issues.
