I'm awaiting a squishy fork...... I'll post another picture when that happens.

An adequate journalists' bike

Later, that same year.....

OK, I switched out the bars and lost the brake. Oh and built a quarter pipe in my back yard. Hey, why not?

What to do during the LONG winter when you can't ride...

spend a bunch of money you really don't have building a bike you really don't need!
That just what this is—a bike I REALLY don't need. But the snow and ice are actually starting to go the fuck away. Soon I'll be able to ride it instead just sitting looking at it. Then I won't stress out over the fact that it doesn't have a white seat! It's sad, really.

Here is an updated pic of my singlespeed. I picked this frame up at a local mountain bike club event for $150. This bike is fast becoming one of my favorite rides. It's got an EBB which is great because I am not a fan of horizontal dropouts on a mountain bike with QR skewers. Currently set up as a 69'er with 32:19 gearing.

Great lines. Many hours of design work. The paint is an OPI nailpolish colour. Oh, my how the bike painter mixed and stirred to get the right shade.
