upcoming or annual races ???
I'm putting together a schedule/list of alleycat or other such races/events.
This is Part of a larger project but if your planning a race ( or want to plan a race ) get at me. I'd also be interested in helping anyone get some races together, while its wet now it will be spring before we know it.

Fixed Gear Dirt Jumper?
Just wondering if any of you folks have experience with fixed DJ bikes and could maybe shed some light or offer any tips for components? I've been riding pumptracks and such for a while and recently got a fixed freestyle frame/fork that I think would make a fun 26" DJ bike. What shops would be my best bet for building a solid component group and wheelset? Or is this idea totally retarded....any info is appreciated. Cheers.

So I got my stolen bike back from the police
and I have already been paid out from insurance. So I guess I just keep the bike? Sucks ass the frame has a crack in it now, and afaik, it is totally not worth it to have the entire bike stripped, heat treated and repainted just to repair. I am basing the process from what Chris from Dekerf told me is involved in repairing it. That sound about right?
So basically, is it a score that I was paid out for my bike, then got it back, or does the insurance co want it or somethihg?
Also, is that about right for repairing aluminum?

What happened to Cramerotti?
They had a site not too long ago. Now nothing. Are they still making frames? Anyone know?
The Campione website hasn't been updated in a long time, either.

video camera. (reviews/comments)
hi there.. I am interested in buying a small video camera and I was wondering if people had some opionins on them.
I started another thread but it knida fell on its face.
I know go pro is the big thing but there is no play back option. not the most importat for me but it is a -1.
I know morgans camera is an amazing video cam in itself but I don't think I am ready for the 500 dolar range digital slr type that also gets me into lens game

Integrated brake lever friction shifters?
It took me a long time to get used to the bar end shifters on my touring bike, and so something like this looks attractive. However, in practice, I wonder how they feel.

Traffic question
I need some advice on how to properly proceed when entering the Main & Union intersection, coming in from the east. In front of that Jimi Hendrix shrine, along the adanac bike route.
I ride that route every day and I always take a right turn heading north onto Main. The other day I wasn't quite sure what to do 'cause I was in the red section for bikes and the light ahead was green. The cars to my side were turning right and there were cyclists coming in behind me so I couldn't come to stop. Usually there aren't many cyclists or cars there when I ride by
In the future when taking this route, what should I do as I approach the intersection? Scoot all the way to the right and hug the curb or enter the queue with the cars waiting to head straight/turn right?
I think what makes it tough is that even when the light is red, cars rarely obey the special line where they are supposed to stop

Missing something? Might be among this pile, hopefully mostly intact.

SRAM Omnium Crankset Issue
Hey'all
So I'm putting together my Argon 18 Electron frame. A few minutes ago I put on my SRAM omnium crankset and the crankset's spider is rubbing up agaisnt the chainstay. I still don't have my wheels so I don't know if the chainline is going to be right but I was wondering if I can add some spacers on the drive side of my GXP bb to change the distance between the chainring/spider and the chainstay.
Peace and thanks for any info!
