Q:I made just made an account, what can I do?
Once you register for an account you can do the following
- Comment on any item
- Submit events to the calendar
- Join groups
- Submit a story
- Create an Forum topic
What you cannot do is the following:
- Have a blog
- Edit or contribute to one of the books
- Upload images
- Submit Videos
If you would like to do any of the above, well then contact a administrator about getting promoted.
Groups are meant to be an organic process where by users can form their own alliances based on common interests. Groups can be open to all or by invatation only. The can have associated event calendars and forum topics, posts and images.
Q: How do I sign up to a group?
- Navigate to the groups list. The link will be in the banner.
- Choose the appropriate group
- On your left hand side you should see a "subscribe" link. Click on it, and click yes to accepting.
If you do not see a subscribe link the group may be by invitation only.
Q: How do I make a group?
Click on "create content" there will be one called "group". Click on it, fill out the deets and hit submit.
Q: how do I submit an article or event to a group?
Well timmy I am glad you asked. Navigate to the group. If you are a member, then on the right hand side you should see options to post events, stories, etc to that group. You can also post to other groups at the same time. When you are writing the article or event or what have you there will be a "Groups" option where you can select more than one group to submit to. You have to be a member of a group to submit to it.
