Ok I should be thankful for the fact that I can get a quality ride or two in during winter. When I lived back east, there was no winter riding unless you hated yourself enough to try and ride in a couple feet of snow. But Frigg me. I am going to whine and gripe here for a bit, but the fact still remains that it really sucks to ride a bike in the rain...
Yes it is true that I grew up in the wet west coast of Canada so I should know what I am in for. But that still doesn't seem to reduce the amount rainy season sucks ass. Not only are you constantly wet, and feel like any car can scream into at any minute because they are all not paying attention when it rains but your bike takes a beating. The pictures below are from a SINGLE 70 km ride. It looks like you just got my frickin' bike out of a tomb along with Ramses the III .
Not convinced that my whining is justified, well then my warm weather friends feast your eyes on
the photos below:

That's pretty grody Weasel, but is it worth it? Or is this pointless whining that you feel obligated to do?
What the frickin' hell have you been riding through?! That looks like a half ton of bat guano you've got plastered on there pal. Sooo nasty... You could always stop off at a fire station and borrow one of their big hoses.
i like it. i lick it. i love it. keep it comin weasel. maybe you should be some kind of photog, art-fag? i think it's you.
nice to see you are having fun out west! just be glad you don't have to endure the minus 40 temperatures that we have right now. happy holidays!
Its called Battle Scars! You don't want your bike to LOOK like it sits in the garage do you? And besides mud is friendlier to the bike than salted up snowy muck is. It also appears you need some fenders (that way you won't look like the bike does) :-) Cheers.
At the time I couldn't afford fenders. I put some on now
Talking about frosty!!
